Frank Gomez is an attorney representing individuals charged with DUI and other criminal offenses. Frank received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. Frank's previous work experience includes working as an assistant public defender representing individuals charged with both felonies and misdemeanors and as a DUI prosecutor in both the City of Atlanta and Cobb County court systems where he was named as the Cobb County Assistant Solicitor General of the Year in 2004.
Frank is a member of both the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD) and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL) where he has been on the GACDL's Board of Directors as a District Vice President since 2015. Frank is also a member of the invitation only Defense of Drinking Drivers (DODD) Group where he was named Georgia's DUI Defense Lawyer of the Year in 2013.
Since 2008, Frank has been the co-author of the Georgia DUI Trial Practice Manual published by Thomson Reuters and is also a co-author of GACDL's annual DUI Update published in July. Frank also currently serves as Program Director for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education's Georgia DUI Update seminar held annually in May.
Frank has received training on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Standardized Field Sobriety Evaluations and has also attended a class of the Intoxilyzer 9000 breath testing instrument. Frank has also attended and completed numerous advanced DUI seminars including NCDD's Summer Session DUI seminar held at Harvard University and the Mastering Scientific Evidence DUI seminar sponsored by NCDD and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
